As the files are so large, blogger seems to have scaled them down abit so they aren't very readable

Laser Model Material and Thoughts
The material I have chosen is 1mm pasteboard due to its likeliness to the clay render I posted earlier. I did want to integrate some acrylic into the model somehow but I couldn't devise a method that would enhance the representation of the design.
I had some doubts about the sturdiness of 1mm pasteboard and wasn't sure that it had sufficient structural qualities to hold together without being too fragile. These doubts have been quelled on inspection of the laser cut material as it isn't as flimsy as I first thought and the model should be stable due to the amount of and position of vertical sections.
